Free maker tool
A transparent PNG is a third of the job. The cut line, the white layer and the engrave file are the rest of it.
Nothing is uploaded. It runs in your browser, so your files never leave your machine — and it stays free.
Part of the Maker Toolkit: sixteen tools that share one shop profile and one product list, so what you set up here is already known everywhere else.

How it works
It cuts the subject out of a photo or logo, then builds what a background remover usually leaves you to do by hand: a clean hard edge with the specks and pinholes gone, a white underbase that sits just inside the color, a smooth cut line with a sticker margin for print-then-cut, and a dithered PNG ready to engrave. Every file opens at the size you set, in LightBurn, xTool or your RIP.
Why it is built this way
Questions
Yes. The AI model downloads once into your browser and runs on your own computer, so the photo is never uploaded. Most free removers send your image to their server to process it. For a product on a plain backdrop there is also an instant mode that uses no AI and downloads nothing.
Drop the photo, set the print width and the margin you want around it, and download the Print + cut SVG. It holds the cut-out image and a smooth cut line at the same size and position, ready for LightBurn’s print and cut, xTool, or a cutting machine. One outline per piece gives a die-cut sticker; turn it off to cut out holes in the design too.
On a UV printer, white ink goes down under the color so it shows on clear or dark material. If the white is the same size as the color, the slightest misalignment shows a white edge. Choking pulls the white in by a few thousandths of an inch so it always hides under the color.
Yes. The Engrave PNG is a 1-bit dither at the DPI you choose, stamped with that DPI so it opens at the right size. Pick Floyd–Steinberg, Jarvis or Stucki for photos, Atkinson for punchier contrast, or threshold for line art. Tick invert for slate, black tile or anodized metal, where the laser makes the mark light rather than dark.
Print and cut never land in exactly the same place. A small white border, 1/16 in by default, means a cut that is a hair off still looks deliberate instead of slicing into the design. Set it to 0 to cut right on the edge when your machine registers precisely.
Next in the workflow
These are not a list of everything. They are the tools this one hands off to, and they already know what you did here.
Free, and staying free
Twelve of the sixteen tools are free for good. If you want the generators that design the product, and the planner that tells you whether the batch fits your week, that is what the Hub is for.
