Where the Hub picks up

You've learned to make it. Now build the business around it.

Tutorials and equipment trainings get you making, dialing in your laser, your UV printer, your CNC, and turning out work you're proud of. Then comes the wall nobody films a quick tutorial for: pricing so you actually profit, finding customers who come back, landing corporate and B2B orders, and building systems so the orders don't run your life.

That's where the Hub picks up. It's the AI back office for your maker business, strategy, systems, and support in one place, so you can stop running every job by hand and grow something that runs with you, not against you.

Agent Clinic — your maker's ship's doctor for misbehaving AI

For the days AI hands you back something twee, generic, or full of safety claims you never authorized. Walk in with the symptom. Walk out with the fix in your hands.

🩻 Symptoms

When AI sounds wrong: invented techniques, twee voice, untested safety claims, craft-fair pricing on your $80 work. 21 cases curated for makers and AI-agent builders.

💊 Fix Prompts

35 paste-ready prescriptions across 5 departments (Audience, Format, Length, Substance, Voice). Search by what's going wrong — em-dashes, "Great question!" openers, craft-twee voice, commission overcommits — copy the prescription, paste it into ChatGPT or Claude, and your AI returns the corrected version.

🧭 Workflows

Guided treatment for the patterns that come back again and again: custom-order DMs, listing rewrites, holiday rush rescues.

🔎 Error Codes

36 cryptic AI error messages decoded in plain English. Stop guessing what the model meant: read the diagnosis, take the fix back.

📋 Pre-Flight

A 31-point checklist before you ship a Custom GPT or Claude Project, built from the same checks Christian runs on consulting-client agents.

📓 Patient Log

Your own case history. Save the symptoms you keep hitting, tag the fixes that worked, and build a library tuned to your shop.

Agent Clinic dashboard — symptoms, fix prompts, workflows, error codes, pre-flight, and patient log
A peek inside the ward — search, filter, copy the prescription, paste it into your AI.

🤖 Plus: 24/7 triage in your private Discord.

Drop your case in the #stuck channel any time of day. The Workshop bot sweeps the ward at midnight, 10am, and 4pm America/New York — the med team writes back in your thread, usually within seconds of the sweep. Built on the same maker-tuned frameworks Christian developed from his consulting work. First-response triage so small AI fixes don't pile up — strategy, custom work, and the hard human calls still come to the live Workshop and the community.

Common Questions

Got questions? Same.

If something here isn't covered, ask in Discord after you join, or hit reply on any email.

What is the Maker Growth Hub?

The Maker Growth Hub is a maker-first community and learning environment for adopting AI, building marketing systems, and growing a real creative business. It includes a Notion vault of clone-able workflows, monthly AI prompt and design packs, AI mini-trainings, live strategy and Q&A calls, and a private Discord. It is run by AI Consultant Christian Lappin under Tumbly Haus Creative. Founding members pay $25/month, locked for life, for the first 50 spots.

Who runs the Maker Growth Hub?

Christian Lappin, AI Consultant and marketing strategist working with top brands and maker/craft influencers, including K&G product launch marketing and training inside their VIP community. Christian is the founder of Tumbly Haus Creative and a multiyear speaker and presenter at the K&G (Kim & Garrett) Jamboree and UV Ink Fest, and other maker industry events. The Hub is built on the same systems and AI workflows he uses with paying consulting clients.

Do I need to be technical to use the Hub?

No. The Hub is built for makers, not engineers. Every workflow is plug-and-play: clone the template, follow the steps, ask in Discord if you get stuck. You don't write code. You don't set up servers. You copy what works and make it yours.

Will my $25/month really stay at $25 forever?

Yes, for as long as you stay a member. No founding-period-ends trick, no surprise hike. When the 50 spots are gone, new members pay $49+. Founding members do not. That's the founding lock, and it's the whole point of joining now.

What's actually inside, and where does it all live?

You access the Hub through your Thrivecart Learn classroom, which is home base. Inside: a Notion vault of clone-able systems and workflows, monthly AI prompt and design packs, AI mini-trainings built for makers, and event/launch playbooks (new material each month). The day-to-day conversation lives in a private Discord. Live strategy and Q&A calls run on Zoom, joinable from any device, including your phone.

I've never used Discord. Will the Hub work for me?

Yes. The Hub's Discord is set up for makers, not gamers. Clean channel structure with dedicated rooms for each tool we cover, voice and video chat when you want to drop in, and zero algorithm-driven doom-scroll. It's everything Facebook Groups should have been: searchable, organized, real-time when you need it, quiet when you don't. The welcome flow walks you through setup, and you can lurk as long as you want before posting.

What AI tools and platforms does the Hub teach?

The big ones, plus the new stuff people are asking about. General AI: Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini. Image generation: Nano Banana, Gemini. Video generation: Kling, Runway, Seedance, and Gemini, for next-level Meta and TikTok ads, product reels, and lifestyle content. Voice and avatars: ElevenLabs for voice cloning and narration, HeyGen for AI avatars and video clones. Build and automation: Claude Code, Codex, Antigravity. Workflow and agentic AI: n8n. Research and data: Perplexity for cited research, Apify for web scraping. Local and private AI: Ollama running open models like Gemma. Plus Christian's own Paperclip and Hermes stack for orchestrating agents, and custom AI skills you can clone for your shop. The Hub isn't tool-worship. We start with what you're trying to do, then walk through which tool fits and how to wire it in.

Do I need any paid AI subscriptions to use the Hub?

At the start, you'll want a paid subscription to either ChatGPT Plus (about $20/month) or Claude Pro (about $20/month). Either one works. The free tiers don't have the speed, model access, or context windows the workflows we teach actually need. That's the floor. As you grow, the Hub shows you exactly when and how to scale your tooling. We won't push every tool. We'll show what each one does and let you choose what fits your shop.

What can I actually use AI for in my maker business?

Real things makers do inside the Hub:

  • Write Etsy and Shopify listings, product descriptions, and SEO copy that ranks
  • Generate product photos, lifestyle imagery, and on-brand ad creative
  • Make Meta, TikTok, and TikTok Shop ad videos in minutes
  • Build email sequences and customer journeys
  • Plan launches, craft fairs, trade shows, pop-ups, and seasonal campaigns end-to-end
  • Run competitive research, pricing analysis, and trend spotting
  • Clone your voice for narration, and create AI avatars to scale video without filming every time
  • Automate repetitive tasks like listing updates and customer replies

Real maker work, taught by someone running a real maker business.

How is this different from a course, YouTube, or Patreon?

Courses, YouTube, and Patreon are all static: published once, then they age. That's brutal with AI, where new models ship almost every week, so a course recorded last quarter is already half-stale. The Hub is built for that reality. Live calls, monthly fresh material, and a community of operators sharing what's actually working right now. You leave each session with a next action you can take this week.

What makes the Hub different from other maker communities?

Three things. It's operator-led, not guru-led: Christian runs real maker projects on the same systems he teaches. It's AI-native: most maker communities treat AI as a side topic, here it's woven through every workflow alongside marketing, systems, and launch strategy. And the founding price is locked for life: $25/month for the first 50 members, no surprise hikes, ever.

I've learned how to make my products. What's the actual next step?

This is exactly who the Hub is built for. Once you can run your laser, UV printer, or CNC and turn out work you're proud of, the next wall isn't another technique. It's the business: pricing so you actually profit, finding customers who come back, marketing without living on social media, and building systems so orders don't run your life. Equipment tutorials get you making. The Hub picks up right where they leave off. You already know how to make it, the Hub is where you learn to sell it, systemize it, and grow it.

Does the Hub work no matter what equipment I run — laser, UV, DTF, sublimation, CNC, vinyl?

Yes, all of it. The Hub isn't tied to one machine or one craft. CO2, diode, fiber and MOPA lasers, UV and UV DTF printers, DTF, sublimation, 3D printing, CNC, vinyl, woodworking. The business underneath is the same for every maker: you make a product, then you have to price it, list it, market it, and sell it. That selling-and-systems layer is what the Hub teaches. We don't train you on your machine, we help you build a real business around what it makes.

Can the Hub help me price my products so I actually make money?

Yes, and it's one of the most common reasons makers join. Underpricing is the fastest road to burnout: you stay busy and still broke. Inside the Hub you get pricing frameworks, an AI pricing warm-up that walks you through your real costs, time, and margin, and a community that will tell you honestly when you're charging craft-fair prices for $80 work. You leave knowing your numbers instead of guessing at them.

I want corporate and B2B orders, not just craft-fair sales. Does the Hub cover that?

Yes. Corporate gifting, bulk and wholesale, on-site and event work is some of the highest-margin, most stable work a maker can land, and almost nobody teaches how to actually go after it. The Hub gives you the outreach systems, quoting templates, and AI-assisted proposals to pitch B2B without the cold-outreach anxiety. It's the difference between waiting for foot traffic and having repeat corporate clients on your calendar.

Will the Hub help me sell more at craft shows and events?

Yes. Event and party systems are built into the Hub: seasonal and evergreen launch templates for your next show, AI help for booth signage and product descriptions, pre-show marketing so people come looking for your table, and follow-up sequences that turn a one-time buyer into a repeat customer. The goal isn't just a good sales day, it's turning every event into a list of customers you can sell to again.

How do I grow beyond a side hustle without working around the clock?

That's the whole reason the Hub exists. Growth usually means more orders, more messages, and more admin, until you become the bottleneck. The Hub is the AI back office that takes the repetitive work off your plate: listing updates, customer replies, content, and order workflows. You build systems that run with you instead of on top of you, so growing your revenue doesn't have to cost you every evening.

I'm scared I've missed the boat on AI. Is it too late, and will I get honest answers?

It's not too late, and honest answers are the point. Most makers who join feel behind on AI, that's normal, and it's exactly why the Hub exists. Nothing is technical, every workflow is plug-and-play, and because the Hub is operator-led and not guru-led, you get straight talk about the hard parts: what actually sells versus what's just fun to make, when to raise your prices, and how to stop trading every dollar for an hour of your life. One small win, then another. That's how it goes.

What happens right after I join?

You're sent straight into your Thrivecart Learn classroom, where the Vault, trainings, and monthly prompt packs live. You also get the Discord invite and a welcome flow that walks you through setup and your first quick win. Annual members book a 60-minute 1:1 strategy session with Christian. You'll be productive within an hour.
